Material I Called "Home"

A project about living and what (a) “home” is. Exploring the relation between the materials and the invisible; the feelings and memories that could make for a home. As a personal exploration of this theme I painted sixteen houses that were once my home. They all carry a story, just like every house does for some. 

I painted the in- and outsides of these houses where i lived from memory. Funny, how some objects or details we know all too well, and others can be completely forgotten.
